Albanians also "invade" New York on Flag Day, Times Square is "dressed" in red and black

Albania's Independence Day is celebrated around the world. This celebration has also colored the world's most famous center, Time Square in New York, red and black.

The red and black flag and congratulations for independence flashed on the giant screens in the New York square, arousing enthusiasm among Albanians, but also curiosity among foreigners.

Also present in Times Square was the ambassador of Albania to the USA, Ervin Bushati, who closely touched this feeling of pride.

"There is no more beautiful feeling than watching the Albanian flag fly in the heart of America. Today it was a square of the Albanian flag. It's fantastic and I'm glad to welcome the Albanian community, a community that has succeeded and integrated here in America. Happy Flag Day to everyone", said Ambassador Bushati.

Meanwhile, yesterday, on Independence Day, Ambassador Ervin Bushati was honored with the title of "Honorary Citizen of the Bronx".
