The family of 18-year-old Anri Kashniku, who drowned yesterday in Durrës after saving his minor brother and a friend from the waves, has opened the mortuary doors.

The residents of the area where the young man's family lives and their relatives went to the Kashniku ​​family's apartment to express their condolences and in a statement to the journalist Klodiana Haxhiaj, they told the details of how the incident happened.

The 18-year-old was engaged in sports activities, after training with the second team of Teuta of Durrës. All the neighbors consider him a hero for the act he performed, saving his 13-year-old brother and his close friend, who is his neighbor, from drowning.

From the testimony of a neighbor, it was learned that Anri Kashniku ​​had just finished secondary education, while a few days ago he had celebrated his graduation night.

"He did a great heroism. He saved his own brother and another boy, who is an only boy, he has neither brother nor sister", says a neighbor of the Kashniku ​​family.

Meanwhile, another neighbor tells how they found out the terrible news: "They told me on the phone that they were on the beach and they told us that there were three people left in the sea."

A neighbor describes him as a wise boy and that he graduated from high school this year.

"Wise, loving, he didn't talk to anyone. Hero boy who saved his brother and a neighbor. He died for himself. We are experiencing a very big drama. He finished his matura this year", she says to the journalists.

"We feel sorry for him. It's a serious pain", says another.
