New details emerge from the explosion with explosives at the outer gate of an apartment in Tirana, an event that occurred shortly after midnight on Tuesday.

It is reported that the target was the apartment  of Tonin Qafa , whose brother was killed in 2009.

It is learned that Tonin Qafa lived in America for many years, but had returned to Albania about 3 months ago.

Meanwhile, the police investigation is focused on conflicts that Tonin Qafë's son, who lives abroad, may have.

Police announcement:

At around 00:35, on "Besnik Hidri" street, at the outer gate of the apartment of citizen T. Q, it is suspected that a quantity of explosives was detonated.

As a result, only material damage was caused. No people were injured.

The investigation team is continuing its work to clarify the circumstances of the incident, identify and capture the perpetrator.
