A powerful explosion in an apartment in Tirana, suspected of tritol

A powerful explosion occurred in the yard of a private house in the "Don Bosco" area in Tirana.

The police say that the explosion broke the windows of another apartment that was located nearby, while no one was injured.

Preliminarily, it is suspected that an explosive substance was thrown, however, the investigations continue for the full disclosure of the event.

"On 06.11.2024, around 7:50 p.m., on "Robert Naci" street, in the yard of an apartment under construction owned by citizen AB, an explosion was heard, similar to explosives or pyrotechnics. As a result, the windows of the 3rd floor of another private residence were broken.

The investigative group is at the scene and is continuing its work to clarify the circumstances of the incident", informs the Tirana Police.
