€20,000 blocked, "Rolex" watch and "Audi RSQ8"/ Appeared on "Sky" for drug trafficking, "Kavajsi" and Maksim Ndoci from Puka were caught!

The two persons arrested in Albania during a joint investigation between the prosecution of Florence (Italy) and the Special Prosecutor's Office (SPAK) in Albania are Juljan Kollçaku from Kavajë and Maksim Ndoci from Puka.

It is expected that the procedures for their extradition to Italy will begin for two persons, Juljan Kollçaku from Kavajë and Maksim Ndoci from Puka.

The two detainees are an integral part of a criminal group that operated in Italy, who, in cooperation with citizens, Albanians, Italians and persons of other nationalities, trafficked and traded Cocaine, Hashish and heroin from Latin American countries.

In total, 25 people were arrested, where 23 were detained in the region of Tuscany, Calabria, Lazio, Puglia, Campania, Lombardy, Veneto, Liguria and 2 people in Albania, who are Juljan Kollçaku and Maksim Ndoci.

According to SPAK, this successful crackdown is the result of the work of two long-term joint investigation teams (JITs), supported and funded by Eurojust.

Among the main proofs of the identification and localization of this group, were exactly the conversations about drug trafficking developed in the "Sky ECC" application.

Drug shipments were sent from South America in containers, through Italian ports (Livorno, Genoa and Savona) and to other European countries.

The containers were stored at the ports of arrival, where special teams took care of recovering the narcotics and removing the shipments from the port areas, to then make them available to criminal groups.

To facilitate the operations of identifying and finding cocaine, the organized criminal group used radio-location equipment, while the substance was hidden inside containers loaded with exotic fruit cover or in special spaces created for this purpose.

From the conducted investigations, it was possible to capture over 2 tons of cocaine, 45 kg of hashish, 20 kg of marijuana - from which the criminal group would have benefited about 70 million euros, as well as the red-handed arrest of three of the members of this group.

Meanwhile, during the operation to arrest two people in Albania, the police seized 20,000 euros, 52 watches of different brands such as "Rolex", etc., 1 vehicle type "Audi RSQ8" of the year 2020 as well as 3 mobile phones, where 2 of them "G Pixel”, a beret pistol firearm with 15 rounds, 3 cell phones and other accessories.
