The Civil Guard of Valencia, as part of the operation coded "Neckars", has arrested 16 members of a suspected criminal organization responsible for a violent robbery inside a house in the city of Betera in Valencia, where residents were injured, including two minor children.

The operation began when agents learned of a robbery inside a house in Betera. All the victims, members of the same family, including two minors, suffered great violence from the robbers, who injured them with sharp objects and threatened the minors that they would cause injuries to their parents and even their death if they do not cooperate.

The victims stated that they had handed over jewelry, watches and other items worth about 175,000 euros. They also provided information about the attackers, who they said were people from Eastern Europe, dressed in dark technical clothing, with cameras and various tools.

Thanks to the identification of part of the license plate number and the model of a vehicle, the agents were able to locate one of the perpetrators in a house in the town of El Puig de Santa Maria (Valencia).

After entering and checking, the agents extracted a partial fingerprint that corresponded to an Albanian citizen, who had numerous precedents for violent robbery in Spain and Albania, where it was learned through Interpol that he had a judicial process for a total of 12 robberies with firearms.

After numerous investigations, the Civil Guard managed to identify the rest of the members of the criminal organization, who were hiding in a rented house where they appeared as football players. Furthermore, the addresses of all members were located in the cities of Ibiza, Arganda del Rey (Madrid), Burriana (Castellon) and Mislata (Valencia). In this way, three more robbers were arrested and sent to prison.

In addition, agents identified the two Chinese businessman brothers who attacked Betera's home. After entering and searching their homes, they were arrested and one of them was sent to prison.

The robbers had paramilitary knowledge that made it difficult to track them down. Furthermore, each of them resided in a Spanish province, and they had only come together to commit pre-planned criminal acts.

From the total of eight checks carried out, the Civil Guard has seized 126 thousand euros in cash, five luxury vehicles, jewelry, a gold bar, frequency amplifiers, exclusive tools for use in expensive jewelry, technical clothing, hoods, firearms, a number large amount of knives, cameras, surveillance cameras, tools with which you can enter the house (scissors, crowbars, screwdrivers), electronic and technological equipment of great value.

As a result of this operation, 16 people were arrested: 11 men and five women aged between 25 and 67 years old and of Albanian, Macedonian, Romanian, Chinese and Spanish nationality. They are charged with the crimes of robbery with violence, illegal detention, wounding, extortion and criminal organization.

In the operation, information was requested from the Albanian authorities. The proceedings have been submitted to the Court of First Instance and Instruction number 1 of Llíria (Valencia).
