While less than 12 hours have passed since the shooting death of two young men in Manëz, police are still at the scene.

What is left behind is the silence and tapes of the investigative authorities.

There are still police forces at the gas station where the incident occurred, who are continuing to work to uncover the details that led to the murder of Aran Kurti, 23, and Flori Paluçi, 33, both residents of Manëz.

Two young men were shot dead after a conflict in Manza. The serious incident shook Manza in Durres in the early hours of this morning.

At around 01:45, near a gas station, a brief conflict allegedly ended with the use of firearms and the loss of two lives.

The victims have been identified as Aranit Kurti, 23 years old, and Flori Paluçi, 33 years old, both residents of Manëz.

According to preliminary data from the special investigative group, it is suspected that after a clash for trivial reasons, Flori Paluçi was shot to death by citizen Daniel Pepa, 21 years old, also a resident of Manëz.

While the other victim, Aranit Kurti, is suspected of being killed by Flori Paluçi himself, shortly before the latter was left dead at the scene.

Durrës Police have launched checks to capture citizen Daniel Pepa, who is currently on the run.

Meanwhile, a special investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor of the Durrës Judicial District, is working at the scene to fully document the circumstances of the incident, to identify if there are other people involved, and to administer any evidence that may help fully unravel this double murder.
