The Special Court accepted SPAK's request and decided a day ago on preventive sequestration of some assets in some coastal areas in Lezhë, with a value of about 13 million euros. But in the announcement, SPAK does not provide details about who these properties belong to.

In the statement distributed to the media by SPAK, it is reported that "during the investigation it was found that some citizens in cooperation with each other and in cooperation with state officials, through forged documents and other illegal actions, have benefited in a way illegally an area of ​​66,000 m2 of land in some coastal areas in Lezha, with a value of about 13 million euros".

Thus, GJKKO has imposed the property insurance measure "preventive sequestration" on the assets as follows:

1. Real estate of the "arable land" type, with an area of ​​8000 m2, Lezhë Island.

2. Real estate of the "arable land" type, with an area of ​​1148 m2, Lezhë Island.

3. Real estate of the "arable land" type, with a total area of ​​27,009.80 m2, with an address in Mali Rencit, Lezhë.

4. Real estate property type "arable land", with a total area of ​​30,663.70 m2, with an address in Mali Rencit, Lezhë.

SPECIAL PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE AGAINST CORRUPTION AND ORGANIZED CRIME

The Special Prosecutor's Office against Corruption and Organized Crime, dated 20.12.2019, registered criminal proceedings no. 29, for the criminal offenses "Production and sale of narcotics", "Trafficking of narcotics", "Structured criminal group" and "Perpetration of criminal offenses by criminal organizations and structured criminal groups", provided by articles 283, 283/a, 333/a, and 334 of the Criminal Code.

During the investigation of this criminal proceeding, it was found that some citizens in cooperation with each other and in cooperation with state officials, through forged documents and other illegal actions, have illegally obtained an area of ​​66,000 m2 of land in several areas coastal in Lezhë, with a value of about 13 million euros. These properties have turned out to be the product of the criminal offenses described above.

The Special Prosecutor's Office against Corruption and Organized Crime has submitted a request for the imposition of the "preventive sequestration" property insurance measure for these assets and by the Special Court for Corruption and Organized Crime with decision no. 345 dated 28.07.2022, it is set :

Acceptance of the request of the Special Prosecutor's Office against Corruption and Organized Crime.

The imposition of the property insurance measure "preventive sequestration" on the assets as follows:

1. Real estate of the "arable land" type, with an area of ​​8000 m2, Lezhë Island.

2. Real estate of the "arable land" type, with an area of ​​1148 m2, Lezhë Island.
