Residents of the Baks-Rrjoll area in Shkodra have been protesting against the construction of Bashkim Ulaj's luxury resort in the area for two weeks now.

Even today, the situation is tense, as family members have blocked work and clashed with the police, refusing to leave the land.

They claim their inherited lands are being taken away unjustly. According to them, more than 80 families risk being left without property due to a decision that recognizes ownership to a person named Fatmir Shpëza.

Residents have also protested in front of the Parliament and the Special Prosecutor's Office, stating that they will not stop until a solution is found.
