Citizens open a petition: Potami beach should be called 'Sirena

Affected by the serious event that took place in Himare, the citizens have taken the initiative to call the beach of Potami "Sirena Jonada"

This symbolic initiative is aimed at the eternal memory of the little girl who took her life on the beautiful South Beach.

The petition has started to take shape and be signed by various citizens.

In order for the name change to take place, permission must be given by the Municipality of Himara.

If the name change happens, the sculptor, author of various works, Adrian Pepa, is ready to make the sculpture that will match the new name of the beach.
