As it was warned, protests have started in front of the building of the Ministry of the Interior where justice is demanded for the tragic death of 7-year-old Jonada Avdia, who was killed by the boat led by Commissioner Arjan Tase on the beach of Potami in Himara.

The protest was organized by the Democratic Party, the Freedom Party and civil society. As can be seen from the photos below, hundreds of citizens with placards in their hands have gathered at the beginning of Tirana's pedestrian street.

PD MPs have joined the protest, while former Prime Minister Sali Berisha is expected to join them.

As stated in the announcement of the press office of the DP, the resignation of the Minister of the Interior Bledi Çuçi and the Minister of Tourism Mirela Kumbaro will be demanded in the protest.
