The Government of Kosovo is expected to take a decision on banning the use of the Tik-Tok application in all state institutions at its meeting on Friday.

This was announced in the agenda published by the Prime Minister's Office.

"Review of the Proposal-decision for the prohibition of the operation of the services of the Social Network "Tik-Tok" in all institutions of the Republic of Kosovo", is the fifth point of this proposal-decision drawn up by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Friday's meeting is expected to be held at 2:00 p.m.

Albania and many other Western countries have done the same, after strong suspicions that Tik-Tok is being used to collect user data by the Chinese communist government.
