Prime Minister Edi Rama was part of the presentation of the program for the Justice Center's international competition.
He stated that this was the largest funding for administrative infrastructure in the country, adding that it was the right thing to do.
" In the case of the new Justice Center, we think it's a little different and I don't think we should include it in this process, but we should finance it directly from the state budget. It is undoubtedly the largest funding that could have been made for administrative infrastructure in Albania, but we believe it is the right one. Today, opportunities have been created and, in my view, a number of reasons have been met to do this, because we are in a process that, after a very radical reform in justice, we must continue for each party to do its own duties.
I ask that you do your duties, our duty is to support the system and do everything so that the system functions with the highest conditions and standards, which we cannot say today. If we take into account the conditions in which judges and prosecutors work and how far behind the system is in terms of technology. I would like to say something here, because I believe it is very important to understand it correctly. The way we have achieved this is by building a network of people who have the appropriate professional training and function as a whole to develop technology in the institution. What do I mean by this? We were in a very difficult situation, where each institution was making its own modules, making its own system. And in fact we made a lot of expenses and had a very funny result, because a system of kiosks was built that did not interact with each other, " said Rama, among other things.
