Two people have been arrested in flagrante delicto by Tirana Police after they were caught carrying out construction work without a permit in the "Sun Hill" area of the capital.
It concerns a construction engineer and an employee who were working on the construction of a new building behind an existing residence, without the relevant legal documentation.
The police inform that the owner of the building, citizen SI, 37 years old, on whose behalf the works were being carried out, has also been declared wanted. Meanwhile, criminal proceedings have been initiated against his father, BI, while he was at large, as he was supervising the illegal works on the ground.
The arrested have been identified as:
-NV, 37 years old, engineer who supervised the works;
-AD, 28 years old, one of the employees at the construction site.
Police of Commissariat No. 1 have launched investigations and are continuing their work to locate and detain the wanted citizen, while checks to identify unauthorized construction and the occupation of public spaces in Tirana will continue uninterrupted.
The procedural materials have been referred to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action.
