Saranda Police have solved the serious incident that occurred on Thursday afternoon in a bar near the stadium, where two citizens were injured after being shot.

Four people have been declared wanted in connection with the incident, citizens Erjon Canaj (36 years old), Artan Murtaj (43 years old), Klaus Jaçaj (31 years old) and Ramadan Zoti (43 years old), the latter suspected of being the perpetrator of the armed attack that aimed to kill two young people from Tirana, Ernest Lama (25 years old) and Gëzim Hajdaraj (33 years old).

During the investigation, the police also arrested Gëzim Hajdaraj, one of the injured, after a "Beretta" firearm with a magazine and 9 cartridges was found and seized during a physical search of him. Hajdaraj is being investigated for the criminal offense of "Unlicensed Possession of Weapons and Combat Ammunition."

Preliminary investigations show that the conflict started for weak motives and escalated into the use of weapons. Ramadan Zoti is suspected of shooting at Hajdaraj and Lama, seriously injuring both of them. They are currently in the Trauma Hospital in Tirana, under the care of doctors.

At the scene, the investigation team seized 4 firearm cartridges, a pistol, and ammunition as material evidence.

The police are continuing their work to capture the wanted persons and bring them to justice.
