The double-headed eagle with the rainbow colors of the LGBT+ community in the background is the provocative post of activist Gresa Hasa on Albania's Independence Day.

In a post on the "X" social network, Hasa unveiled this flag with the message that Albanians must be freed from nationalism and patriarchy.

"Today is Albania's independence day. As I understand it, independence should be liberation from all systems of oppression – including patriarchy and nationalism. Happy", she writes.

Her post evoked quite a few reactions, apparently forcing Hasa to close the possibility of commenting on her post.

Even in previous posts, the activist Hasa has not spared the disparaging and mocking language towards the parade organized on the boulevard "Dëshmorët e Kombit", where characters dressed as the national hero Skënderbeu and the father of Independence, Ismail Qemali, also paraded.
