Protest in the port of Shengjin, dozens of workers on the street for salary

Dozens of Shengjin port workers went on strike this Wednesday. Salary delays and exemption from remuneration under the government's anti-inflation package were two of the big reasons.

Port workers also denounce the fact of fictitious employment in this institution, which according to them is leading to bankruptcy.

On the other hand, the director of the port, Sandër Marashi, accepts the fact that this institution has financial problems, stressing that they are joint stock companies and do not receive remuneration from the state budget.
