The prosecution requested house arrest, the Korça court releases the two girls who denigrated 100 minors by posting intimate photos of themselves

The court released the two girls who were arrested 3 days ago by the Korça police, on charges of child pornography, after they are suspected of having published blackmailing messages and pornographic videos and photos through a page on the Instagram social network.

The prosecution requested that both girls be placed under house arrest until the investigation is completed, while the Court has imposed milder measures than those requested by the prosecution for Persea Malaveci, and EP.

The court imposed a 'compulsory appearance' for the 19-year-old Malaveci, and parental supervision for the 17-year-old minor, with the initials EP

The hearing lasted almost 2 hours and 30 minutes. During the hearing, the two lawyers requested a lighter security measure than the one requested by the Prosecution, which was accepted by the Court, while investigations will continue to prove the responsibility of the girls and other young men involved in this crime.

"At the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction in Korça, a hearing was held today, on 09.02.2025 at 13:00, with the subject matter: "Validation of detention, assignment of security measures", against citizens PM and EP, where the court ultimately decided:

1- Validation as unlawful of the detention and the imposition of the security measure "Obligation to report to the judicial police" against citizen PM, suspected of committing the criminal offense of "pornography", provided for by article 117/2 and 25 of the Criminal Code.

2- Validation as unlawful of the detention and the imposition of the security measure "Placement of a minor under supervision" against citizen EP, suspected of committing the criminal offense of "pornography", provided for by article 117/2 and 25 of the Criminal Code.
