The property investigation launched by SPAK against the criminal group, which included Erzen Breçani , his son, Eralbi , and wanted Ervin Mata, a family relationship of theirs, continues with the collection of evidence.

They were accused as others involved in drug trafficking, criminal group and creating conditions for murder, is continuing with the collection of data on businesses and movable and immovable properties.

In addition to the names of 11 people directly involved in the investigation, 4 of whom have been arrested and 7 who are being sought, SPAK said that it is verifying the wealth of their family members and of the singer Elvana Gjata, who is mentioned in the file for using the account of her banking by Ervin Mata.

The latter has conducted conversations on "Sky ECC" about drug trafficking in several episodes, while it does not appear that he has any business in his name. SPAK is verifying the names of family members, while Erzen Breçani is connected to two companies.

The entity "HEC Drita Energy", with administrator Eralbi Breçani, directly intercepted in conversations about cocaine trafficking and financial transactions, was established on September 23, 2019 with the object of activity of construction, operation and administration of the "Drita" Hydropower Plant, up to the sale of energy.

The works in the Gashi River, Tropoja Municipality, were carried out with a construction permit issued by KKT, on 12.07.2019. The last actions of HEC were carried out on July 23, 2023, and since March 15, 2022, the subject has been suspended. The entity has been making losses since 2019, until 2022, reporting negative activity.

Legally, it remains unclear what HEC's losses were covered with, while on pages 84 and 85 of SPAK's file, Erzen Breçani was intercepted talking to his son about the amounts he needed from 300 to 500 thousand euros to cover the expenses, and even, in a conversation, shows that there were also problems with workers' salaries.

In the voluminous file, Erzen Breçani's message was also recorded, where he tells his son that he needs 300,000 euros for the turbines and asks him if the money will be delayed in order to tell the administrator Fatbardh Breçani to get a loan.

The company that owns the HEC that Erzen Breçani was building is the security company Breçani ROSP, founded on April 6, 2005. The latter has as its object of activity the service of physical security and protection of persons and objects and the transportation of valuables monetary and valuable items.
