POTESTA against forced employment/ Debate with Minister Manastirliu: We want

Students of the Faculty of Medicine will protest today at 11:00 in front of the Rectorate of UMT. They oppose the discussions between rector Gjata, ministers Kushi and Manastirliu, to conclude a work contract after completing studies.

Students are against forced employment where the ministry assigns it and demand freedom in their choices.

A few days ago, the Minister of Education, Evis Kushi together with the Minister of Health, Ogerta Manastirliu, prof. Arben Gjata Rector of UMT and prof. Xheladin Draçini, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, held a first consultative meeting with students of the Faculty of Medicine, with the aim of employment and their contribution to the country after completing their studies, for a certain period of time.

According to Kushi, for this idea to be implemented there must be an agreement together with the students.


The rector of UMT said that every year policies have been made to increase the number of medical students, one of them is the increase in the quotas for them, where for this academic year they go to 500 quotas.
