The Traffic Police of Tirana have arrested 26 people who were driving drunk and without a license, while 8,750 fines have been imposed for various violations of traffic rules, after several intensive checks carried out on the streets of the capital.

From the increased controls on all road axes, for the identification and punishment of violators of traffic rules, 24 vehicle drivers were arrested and prosecuted, who were caught behind the wheel in a drunken state, without a driving license, and for violating the rules of the road. road traffic.

During the past week, 8750 administrative measures have been imposed:

▫️ 24 citizens were arrested and prosecuted for driving while intoxicated, without a driving license, and for violating traffic rules.

▫️ During the last week, 8750 administrative measures were imposed.

▫️ 120 administrative measures have been imposed for darkened windows.

▫️ 278 administrative measures have been imposed for speeding over the allowed rates.

▫️ 702 drivers were punished with administrative measures for using mobile phones while driving.

▫️ 596 administrative measures have been imposed for the use of mobile devices while driving.

▫️ 222 drivers were punished for not giving priority to pedestrians, on white lines.

▫️ 2191 drivers were punished for not wearing a seat belt.

▫️ 210 administrative measures have been imposed, for not wearing a protective helmet, by drivers of motor vehicles.

▫️ 252 administrative measures have been imposed for wrong passing.

▫️ 19 vehicles were blocked.
