The 23-year-old is suspected of being part of a criminal group that was preparing for a serious crime.

The investigative structures of the Vlora Police Station, in cooperation with the structures of the Vlora Local Police Directorate, based on the information provided by the intelligence that a 23-year-old man, who is suspected of being part of a criminal group, in the city of Vlora , kept hidden in the apartment, firearms of various types, with which it is suspected that a serious crime would be committed, have organized the coded police operation "Strike", engaging numerous police services.

In the framework of this operation, the citizen was caught and arrested red-handed:

- DS, 23 years old, for the criminal offenses "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition", "Production and sale of narcotics", "Unauthorized production and possession of hunting weapons" and "Carrying without right of uniform".

During the search of his apartment, in the "Bashkimi" neighborhood, the police services found and seized as material evidence: 500 grams of explosives mounted on a device with remote control, to be detonated remotely, 1 automatic firearm , 1 pistol firearm with a silencer, 1 shotgun, 38 cartridges for the pistol and the machine gun, 2 police uniforms, a quantity of suspected narcotic substance cannabis, 2 mobile devices and 1 "Volkswagen" type vehicle.

Due to investigative secrecy, since the incident is under investigation, no further details are given regarding the motives and the intended target. The investigative work continues, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, for the identification of other citizens who would cooperate with the citizen DS and for the complete documentation of this case.

The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Vlora Judicial District Court, for further procedural actions.
