19-year-old Nicola Lorio had come for vacation in our country, but lost his life as a result of the maneuvers he was performing with his brother-in-law with Jet Ski. Both were maneuvering and then the two vehicles collided in the sea, 1 mile outside the safety perimeter.
The young man received serious injuries to his head and neck as a result of the collision and as a result died in the Shkodra hospital. The police of Shkodra announce that they have arrested the other Italian, Salvadore Di Tella, 20 years old, for the criminal offense of "manslaughter".
The two Italians were related to each other. The arrested person is known to be the brother-in-law of the 19-year-old. They had come to Albania for vacation and had a few days in our country. They were day vacationers in Velipoja and they were not staying there.
The police have blocked two Jet-Skits with which the Italians collided, but in the meantime sources indicate that the motor vehicles were taken in accordance with the rules. The owners of the vehicles were also questioned, while the 20-year-old Salvadore Di Tella himself stated to the police that they were performing maneuvers in the open sea, lost control of the vehicles and collided.
