Massive clashes between Albanians in Athens

Two groups of young Albanians, about 26 people, clashed twice in central Athens. Three of them were seriously injured with knives.

During the fight, in addition to knives, they used sticks and crowbars, writes Prothotema.gr.

According to Greek media, the reason for the fight, according to what the arrested people declared to the Athens Security Police, was a girl.

However, there are indications that the real motive behind the violence was drug trafficking.

In the searches carried out at the defendants' homes, 97 grams of raw cannabis, 52 grams of cocaine, 51 grams of methamphetamine and 6 knives were found and seized.
