After being completely blocked at the beginning of the month due to massive landslides, the Qukës - Qafë Plloçë road has now been partially reopened.

Today, traffic has begun only for vehicles destined for the villages of Pogradec that are connected to this road. Meanwhile, it should be noted that the entire rocky massif that fell about 10 days ago due to rains and bad weather that affected the Korça region has been removed.

The company is currently clearing the road from mud, while vehicles bound for Elbasan or vice versa heading to Korça will continue normal traffic the next day.

Inaugurated in early September, the Qukës–Qafë Plloçë road cost 260 million euros and took 16 years to build.
