A 54-year-old man has been arrested by the Shkodra Police after a conflict with the owner of a bar and several other people in the "Manush Alimani" neighborhood.

After the fight, Vedat Hoxha returned to the bar, but this time with a Kalashnikov.

The blue uniforms arrived at that moment, neutralizing the 54-year-old who, unable to leave, threw the weapon to the ground.

"As part of the police operation codenamed "Reaction", the arrest was made in flagrante delicto for the criminal offenses of "Unlicensed possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition" and "Threat", of citizen Vedat Hoxha, 54 years old, resident of Shkodra.

The 54-year-old, after a conflict with the owner of the bar, citizen GH, 36 years old, had left and returned to the bar where he had a Kalashnikov firearm with him. At the moment he returned to the bar, the police services arrived and intervened to neutralize the 54-year-old who was holding the firearm in his hand", the police informed today.
The Blues also inform that the owner of the bar will be investigated at large.

"Following the actions, citizen GH, 36 years old, resident of Shkodra, was proceeded with at large for the criminal offenses of "Illegal employment" and "Hiding income", the police statement further states.

The firearm and ammunition were seized as material evidence.

The procedural materials were passed on to the Shkodra Prosecutor's Office for further action.
