The daughter of former MP Vangjel Tavo, Eva (Evanthia) Tavo , who died two days ago in the accident in North Macedonia, was escorted to her last home today. In Jorgucat, Gjirokastra, dozens of people gathered to say goodbye to the 24-year-old woman who took her life in the middle of Tuesday evening.

The young woman was a passenger in an 'Audi' type vehicle that was traveling on the "Mother Teresa" highway from Tetova to Skopje.

Earlier it was reported that the car driven by the 40-year-old man with the initials VM went off the road in the village of Llaskarce and as a result the young Albanian woman lost her life on the spot, while the driver was injured.
This was established by the arrival of medical teams, who announced that the 24-year-old woman died immediately from her injuries.
"On 28.11.2023 at 14:00 in SVR-Skopje, it was reported that on the highway "Mother Teresa" in the direction from Tetova to Skopje, in the area of ??the village of Llaskarcë, the vehicle "Audi" with Albanian license plates, which was driven by Albanian citizen VM (40), has left the street. From the injuries received in the accident, the passenger ET (24) from the Republic of Albania died on the spot, while the doctor of the Emergency Medical Service confirmed her death. The driver of the VM was seriously injured", said the statement of the Ministry of the Interior of North Macedonia.
The sad news about the death of the 24-year-old was given by former MP Vangjel Tavo himself. Through a post on social networks, Tavo gave the sad news about the death of his daughter.
"These are the hardest words I've ever written in my life. My eldest daughter Eva passed away in the prime of her youth, at her most beautiful age, as she herself was. The funeral will take place on Thursday, November 30, at 11:00 in Jorgucat, Gjirokastër," he wrote.
A few years ago, Eva's mother, Aristulla Xhumba, tragically passed away. Several well-known Albanian showbiz figures also reacted to the death of the 24-year-old in the prime of her youth.

Two of them were Xhensila Myrtezaj and Alban Skënderaj who described Eva as a loving and sweet girl.
