Durrës Police have reacted to the incident broadcast yesterday on the show "Stop", where a 51-year-old man from Durrës stalked and threatened his children for revenge, after being released from prison for sexually abusing his daughter.

He was arrested by blue uniforms, and is citizen Skënder Kurti, who is accused of the criminal offense of " Domestic Violence ".

What happened to the Kurti family?

The family of 4 from Shkafana, Durrës, lives between Albania and Italy and was facing macabre situations.

The daughter of this family denounced her father Skënder Kurti for sexually abusing her, while they were both living in Italy, awaiting the arrival of her mother and brother.

When she was 14-15 years old, the girl turned to the competent authorities and was taken care of by social services in Italy, while her father served 7 years in prison.

The mother and younger brother learned of the incident a few weeks later from a neighbor in Italy after the sister was not answering the phone.

The family's son, Xhemal Kurti, now 19 years old, stated that he had only seen his father 3 times, and even on those occasions, Skënder was violent.

After his sentence, Skënder was deported to Albania, where he began persecuting and violence against his family.

"Don't even remember the day we met, until death, it's the last time... No, block me, do whatever you want because I'll block you! It's the last time I'm telling you: when I meet you, I'll hit you like you hit me. At every moment of my life, I want death, but not alone, only with you! I know this very well, to explode like dynamite in my stomach, I want you so much that I still don't change my path! You rip me off in spite of them, in spite of my brother, in spite of my mother! The day you come near me, you'll see, I'll show you who I am, because I'll rip out your heart, like you ripped mine out! You scoundrel! You deceitful woman! You stinking woman, you started putting your fingers in my pussy when you were 12 years old..! In 2024, Skënder's son, Xhemal Kurti, goes to his paternal grandmother's house, where he is attacked by his father and forced to throw a brick at him to defend himself.

For this reason, the young man was left in prison for 3 months and the court sentenced him to 1.5 years in prison.

Wandering for a year in Albania between the four roads, the young man says that with the help of a friend he started working, but his father continues to haunt him even there.

Skënder Kurti 's persecution of his son was confirmed by the owner of the business where Xhemali works.

He indicated that they were in a difficult situation, where Skënder Kurti was not leaving them alone.

Skënder Kurti openly expressed the revenge, persecution, and framing he has inflicted on his son, just to avenge the denunciation his daughter made in 2015 in Italy for sexual harassment.
