Vetting finally excludes from the justice system Zegjine Sollaku, the wife of former chief prosecutor Theodhori Sollaku.

Sollaku, who was a judge of the Court of Appeal of Tirana, was dismissed by the Independent Qualification Commission on August 8, 2021 after she did not justify her wealth.

He had the same fate yesterday (February 28, 2024). The Special Board of Appeal upheld the decision of the KPK. The panel of judges - composed of Sokol Çomo chairman, Ina Rama relator, Albana Shtylla, Natasha Mulaj, Rezarta Schuetz member - considered in the counseling room Zeqine Sollaku's appeal against the decision of the KPK and at the end of the trial, unanimously decided:  

"Enforcement of decision no. 416, dated 08.07.2021 of the Independent Qualification Commission, which belongs to the subject of the revaluation Zegjin Sollaku"

During the examination, KPK said that Sollaku did not justify 7 million ALL of income. At the KPK, the judge was defended by her husband, Theodhori Sollaku, who currently practices as a lawyer. Sollaku held the office of the General Prosecutor of Albania from 2002 to 2007.
