The first detail makes you think that the killer was not a professional. The second detail that is understood is that the victim was more distracted than usual when he saw the killer, who he probably knew. Investigations continue. Who committed the murder?

His partner has categorically opposed the involvement in the event.

"We were together since March, we loved each other, we had some arguments like in any couple. He was a fantastic man, but very jealous. He had argued and punched me on two occasions with other men, but they weren't my ex-boyfriends or the people I was seeing. Nobody killed it for me. I have had my experiences, but what he gave me I have never felt with anyone. I was his queen. He had changed his life for me and for my daughter, whom he adored. We were together on Thursday night, we didn't see each other on Friday, his last message reached me at 3.56pm on Saturday. That is, an hour before the murder. When they called me, I thought it was an accident, then they explained what had happened. Since then, my daughter and I have lived in terror and anxiety, just hoping they find the person responsible. We want justice for him, for us, Claudio's family, his mother, his sister. We were preparing passports to go spend New Year's Eve with them", she confessed to " La Stampa ".

About this event, the sister of the victim, Desara Myrtaj, spoke to "La Stampa". She said she is shocked by the incident, adding that her brother had not expressed any concerns recently.

"I am shocked. Claudio has always been the best brother in the world, he was always by my side. He was a good guy, he graduated from university and had a master's degree in public relations. Claudio worked in a call center in Tirana, but six years ago our father passed away, so he returned to Vlora to be near his mother. But we needed money.

He contacted his cousins ​​in Caraglio, with whom we are very close. First he went to Spain for vacation, then he joined them in Italy. We were waiting for the New Year's Eve. But this terrible news comes to us. My cousins ​​informed me. We talked to Claudio every day, he never said any worries, he didn't even tell his cousins ​​that there might be problems. He was a kind and fair man and could not hurt anyone.

I do not find logic that the event is a crime of passion. We have faith in the Italian justice system, that it will clarify this event. Mom is devastated. For him, the most important thing now is to return Claudio's body to Albania as soon as possible, to say goodbye," said the 34-year-old's sister.

Claudio Myrtaj was working as usual in carpentry, when he was suddenly killed with a bullet in the head, by as yet unidentified persons. He had arrived in Italy two years ago.
