A serious incident has been reported in Skourta, Boeotia, Greece after a burned man was found inside a vehicle in a field.

The man, who has not yet been identified, was found in the back of the car, handcuffed, and it is estimated that at least two 24-hour periods have passed since the moment of his death.

According to initial reports, it is possible that he is an Albanian citizen who had disappeared a few 24 hours ago. The person in question had no criminal record. A few days earlier, he had left his place of residence for Vilia, where he never returned. His relatives had reported him missing, alarmed.

The burnt vehicle with the body was spotted by a hunter. The vehicle was stolen and had forged license plates. The Directorate for Combating Organized Crime has gone to the scene.
