Aida Hajnaj has filed a lawsuit with the Tirana Administrative Court, with the latter having scheduled Tuesday as the first hearing.
She is requesting that the competition for the director of departments be suspended until the Court issues its decision, according to what journalist Anila Hoxha reports for Top Channel.
She wants to return as deputy general director of the police, or as the law requires, department director, which they have not done.
Hajnaj was director of the BKH until September 1 of this year. After her mandate ended, she was not allowed to return to duty, but in the meantime, the police have opened a competition for department directors.
