Shkodra Police has provided details about the gunshot wound that occurred around 22:00 on Tuesday in the neighborhood "Perash".

Police reports that in still unclear circumstances, Edis Reçaj, 28 years old, resident of the "Partizani" neighborhood of this city, was wounded with a firearm in the leg. According to the same sources, he is in the hospital out of danger for life.

Police say that upon receiving the notification of gunshots, the services immediately went to the scene, the area was cordoned off, checkpoints were set up and the territory was combed to make it possible to identify and apprehend the perpetrator or perpetrators.

"The investigative group is at the scene and under the direction of the Prosecution, is working to fix any possible evidence that will serve the investigation to clarify the event," said in the police announcement.
