For 3 and a half hours, citizens protested again in the capital against construction in Zvërnec, but also other problems in the country.
Citizens, just like every day, set off from "Skënderbej" Square towards the Prime Minister's Office, just like in the days we left behind, but they encountered a cordon of police forces that had been placed on both sides of Lana, as part of the measures for the friendly match between Albania and Israel.
For this reason, protesters were initially not allowed on the "Martyrs of the Nation" boulevard, which caused physical clashes between them and police officers.

But this has not prevented citizens from heading towards the Prime Minister's Office, despite clashes with police or the fact that water was used against them by police cars.
During the protest, which was not stopped even by the rain, citizens articulated a series of slogans, including calls for the government to resign, accusations against the political class, and opposition to the project being developed in the protected area. The protest also heard the now-famous slogans: "Rama in prison, Berisha in prison," "Sold opposition," and other calls directed at political figures.

This is the fourth consecutive day of protests against the project in Zvërnec. Citizens and activists are demanding a halt to the investment, arguing that it violates an area of ??special natural and environmental value. On the other hand, the government considers the project a strategic investment for the development of tourism and the country's economy.
Citizens have announced another protest tomorrow at 6:00 PM.
