Renowned Albanian rapper Arkimed Lushaj, known by his stage name Stresi, has reacted to Vox News regarding a video that has resurfaced on social media, where he appears greeting Shkodra's strongman, Safet Bajri, who is now in prison.

The artist denies any knowledge or connection to him and says that the video is old, recorded about three years ago in Shkodra.

According to Stresi, the situation occurred at a moment when someone approached him with his phone during a performance, asking him to greet a person, without being informed who it was.

"The video was made 3 years ago. It's not just Safeti. They take us every time we go on stage, like me, like Noizy or Klevio and many others. They tell us: 'Say hello to so-and-so' and bring the phone to our face. At the moment I don't know how to react, I say hello ," Stresi tells Vox News.

The rapper emphasizes that he has no connection with people involved in the criminal world and that everyone has their own life.

"I have nothing to do with any of these, these bandits. They have their own business, I have mine. This is the truth," Stresi points out.

Further, Stresi describes the return of the video as an attempt to damage his image, especially at a time when he has just entered the National Council of the Democratic Party.

"This is a game being played against me or the person in question to harm me, supposedly 'this guy just joined the national council and is dealing with gangs'. I am against gangs," Stresi emphasizes, thanking Vox News for the opportunity to give his version of events.
