Although the forensic analyzes have not yet come out, the experts who are investigating the cause of death of 32-year-old Lear Kurti from the examinations conducted suspect that the cause was narcotics.

The group of forensic doctors still does not have the result of how much cocaine was absorbed by the body, but they suspect that its negative effects were accelerated by the run that the victim made to escape the police.

It is suspected that running combined with the effects of cocaine increased heart rate and blood pressure causing health damage that proved fatal. According to forensic doctors, these health conditions have caused complications such as cerebral hemorrhage and myocardial infarction, Tch reports.

From the autopsy that was performed on Lear Kurti, doctors found a plastic bag measuring 5 by 5 centimeters in his stomach, which was examined and found to contain cocaine residue.

Investigators suspect the 32-year-old may have ingested the drug to avoid arrest for drug possession, although this action was not seen by police and is not clearly visible on security camera footage in the area where the arrest took place.

Lear Kurti was chased by the police on the evening of October 19 while he was driving on "Riza Cuka" street. After being handcuffed on "Don Bosco" street and taken to the police station, he developed a health problem and arrived dead at the Trauma hospital.

Regarding the incident, the prosecutor's office of Tirana is investigating the criminal offense of "Failure to provide assistance" and "Commitment of arbitrary actions".
