He was the famous Albanian doctor, member of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the deputy to the communist system, Fadil Ii.

The news is saddened by his friends and relatives on social media.

He suffered in terrible prisons of dictatorship, sentenced twice. He settled for residency in Russia, where his wife lived for decades with his only son.

Fadil Ii was a doctoral professor, surgeon with a name and extraordinary fame, a dissident and persecuted by the communist regime.

The albanian was born on 21.3.1926, in Kolesjan, Kukes, in the well-know and patriotic family of Spahij.
In 1937, when he was a student at the High School of Shkodra, he was arrested for participating in demonstrations against the occupying Italian government, but was soon released.

In the spring of 1941, he began teaching at the High School of Kumanovo. He was also expelled from school and forced to attend it in Pristina, where, again, in 1943, he was caught distributing anti-government tracts. This forced him to leave and in June 1944, to be ranked in the Luma battalion and then the <>xiv Attack brigade.

After the liberation, he worked in the youth circuit of Kukes.

In 1946, he graduated from the Gjirokastrës High School, while in 1948, he began his medical studies at the Moscow University of Moscow, which he completed in 1953. He also specialized in surgery. He attended the 1954-1957, in the former Soviet Union, where he specialized in oncology.

In the former Soviet Union, he defended the scientific degree "Candidate of Sciences" and became a member of the Academy of Sciences.
From 1957 to 1964, he organized the orthopedic service in Tirana.

In 1964, he was arrested by the communist regime and held in prison for two and a half years. He was also expelled from the PPS.

After being released from prison, he was sent to work as a doctor in gramshi district, where he stayed for 10 years. Because of his stance, considered at the time anti-regime, he was arrested again and sentenced to 18 years in prison.

During prison time the talented doctor and the Blessed scientist was forced to spend it in the most terrible prisons of the time, such as in The Oblivion, Father of Martanesh and Spaç.

He was released from prison in 1987, but without a right to work as a doctor.

He left again in Russia, where he had his Russian wife and son, where he worked at the Oncology Center of the Russian Medical Academy.

There, in 1992, he received the academic title "Professor" and was elected vice president of the anti-cancer association in Russia.
