The Tirana police have put 48-year-old Albana Ferraj in handcuffs, who was declared wanted after SPAK, assigned the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offenses "Passive corruption of persons exercising public functions" and "Cleaning of the products of the criminal offense or criminal activity".

The police announce that Ferraj is suspected of having received the sum of 131 thousand euros as a bribe, to favor an Italian company, for a tender held in 2016.

"From the investigative actions carried out, reasonable suspicions based on evidence were created that the citizen Albana Ferraj, who during the development of this procurement procedure and the implementation of the contract for which the procurement was carried out, performed the function of the Director of the Commercial Division and the Director of the Cabinet in the commercial company OSHEE sh.a, has received irregular benefits, in the amount of 131,880 euros, in order to favor the commercial company "COM METODI" SPA in the procurement procedure developed in 2016." it was said in the announcement of SPAK, when it was declared wanted.

The third company uses "COM METODI" SPA, it turned out that the owner was again Albana Ferraj herself, the company has an active status and offers consultancy, economic and accounting services.

Beyond covering corruption with tenders in OSHEE, this also has a conflict of interest as Albana Ferraj is the same person who approves tenders and advises, who used her company to benefit from a 132 thousand euro bribe in the tender awarded by OSHEE.
