The Minister of the Interior, Besfort Lamallari, has reacted to the phenomenon of illegal parking in urban areas, describing this as a serious violation of the norms of civic coexistence. Through a message published on social networks, the minister confirmed that the State Police has launched an intensified campaign to punish these violations, which are among the most frequent complaints that reach his address.
In his response, the minister emphasized equality before the law, sending a clear message to those who abuse public spaces.
"One of the most frequent complaints I have received in my email or phone is precisely the wrong parking in neighborhoods and streets, which becomes a concern for community residents and other vehicle users," says Lamallari.
He defined careless parking as a behavior that disregards rules and the community, guaranteeing that law enforcement will not make any kind of differentiation when enforcing the Highway Code.
"An uncivilized behavior, disregarding legal norms and rules of coexistence in the community. The State Police will not tolerate any violation, regardless of who the violator is. It does not matter the surname they hold, the position they claim or the brand of car they drive. Before the law, everyone is equal and the rules apply equally to everyone," emphasized the Minister of Interior.
Attached to the statement, the minister also published a video material that reflects the recent actions of the State Police in the field, showing the administrative measures and fines imposed on drivers who have blocked common spaces or sidewalks.
