The Albanian Investment Development Agency (AIDA) has refused to provide information on the project on Sazan Island.
In its response, writes lawyer Erald Aga, the agency states that it is obligated to maintain confidentiality and therefore cannot provide the requested information about the project.
In the second point of the response, AIDA writes that the project is part of the audit conducted by the Albanian Supreme Audit Office that lasts until September 30, 2026. It adds that providing information is not possible in cases where it causes clear and serious harm to the audit process.
Finally, AIDA adds that the Albanian side is still in negotiations with the interested party of the project and therefore, since there is no final project, it cannot provide information on the negotiations and discussions held between the parties.
