As the country's courts are facing a very high number of unfinished files and an insufficient number of judges or even facilities where court hearings can be held, for the head of the parliamentary Committee on Civic Initiatives, Cooperation and Institutional Oversight, the "Achilles' heel" remains the new judicial map that is being implemented.

"I was against the judicial map precisely for this reason and we were in the upper chamber and I told the High Judicial Council that you can do this, but you can do it in a transitional phase because you don't have the infrastructure to enable this."
