'He followed me home and pulled his pants down on the street'/

After the arrest of the 45-year-old Albanian Spartak Dyrmishi, accused of violence and sexual abuse against women and girls, other denunciations have arrived at the Greek police.

At noon yesterday, a 67-year-old woman went to the Kifissia Police Department and reported that in August 2021 she was attacked in Lutraki by an unknown man. She says that after seeing the photo of the arrested Albanian in the media, she managed to identify him as the person who committed shameful acts in front of her 1 year ago.

During the denunciation, she described how the incident happened in early August 2021. She had gone out in the morning and the stranger had followed her home, pulled down her pants and masturbated in front of her. But the elderly woman managed to open the door of the house and quickly get inside, while the Albanian did not try to enter.

After seeing the photograph, he stated that he was able to identify him through the tattoo and some facial features. In the meantime, the investigations into the accusations of rape or sexual harassment continue.

The day before, Spartak Dyrmishi, wanted by the Greek authorities, was arrested by the Vlora police. Accused of being a sexual abuser, the perpetrator crossed the Greek-Albanian border from the Kakavia border station in the early hours of October 27, before being identified by the Greek authorities.

To escape from the scene, Dyrmishi headed towards Vlora to his mother's apartment while he himself was divorced. It was the mother, who together with her sister set up a trap by giving the house keys to the blue forces.

The Albanian police handed him over to the Kakavijë Border Crossing Point in order to receive the punishment from the neighboring country.
