Highway closure, heavy traffic also shifts to the entrance to Elbasan

The closure of the Vorë-Durrës highway segment has also increased the flow of vehicles on the Tirana-Elbasan axis. 

During these days, and especially this Monday, hundreds of vehicles have passed from Elbasan towards the south. This influx of vehicles has resulted in heavy traffic entering and exiting Elbasan.

Under these conditions, the authorities have also requested the understanding of citizens to prioritize investments in road infrastructure that are being carried out in the Vorë-Durres segment.

Traffic on the Tirana-Durres highway has reached over 20 kilometers today, mainly heavier in Vora-Maminas.
