Unusual situation in Lebanon, the country has been engulfed by a second wave of explosions of electrical and electronic equipment, this time affecting radio receivers.
At least 9 people are reported to have lost their lives today and over 300 others were injured, after the radio receiver exploded in their hands.
The blasts come a day after thousands of pager communication devices exploded, killing 12 people and maiming more than 3,000 others. The equipment was mainly used by Hezbollah militants.
Today, in several cities in Lebanon, it is reported that solar panels as well as door security systems, such as fingerprint identifiers and cameras, have exploded. As a result, several houses, cars and motorbikes caught fire all over the country.
