The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has reacted after the armed attack that took place on Wednesday in an elementary school in Belgrade, where eight students and the guard, a seventh-grade student, were killed.

Kurti expressed his condolences to the victims and their families through a post on Twitter.

"I would like to express my deepest condolences to the victims of the school shooting in Belgrade and to their families. I also wish a speedy recovery to those injured in this tragic event", wrote Kurti.

President Vjosa Osmani also reacted to this event yesterday. In a Twitter post, Osman expressed his condolences to the families of the students who lost their lives.

What happened at the elementary school in Belgrade:

The 14-year-old identified as Kosta.K executed 9 people today with a firearm in a "Vladislav Ribnikar" elementary school. He killed the guard and 8 students.

Kosta is an excellent student and winner of the mathematics olympiad, while earlier he was ranked third in the history olympiad.

The media alludes that it was this quarrel he had with the history teacher that pushed him to the monstrous act.

He took his father's firearm and fired a volley of bullets around 8:00 a.m., when school usually starts. After killing them, he was immediately arrested by the Serbian police.
