The former president of the USA, Donald Trump, has said that he would end the war in Ukraine within a day if he were elected again as the head of the White House.
In an interview with Nigel Farage on GB News, Trump said 24 hours would be enough to end the conflict.
"I will put an end to it. It would be easy.”
Calling the war a "disaster" that must be stopped, he added: "That agreement would be easy. A lot of it is about money.”
Trump, who has not hesitated to "brag" about his close relationship with Russian President Vladimir Putin, said that they "go well" together.
The former president also said that Putin would never have entered Ukraine if it weren't for the "incompetence" of the Joe Biden administration."
"Putin was not coming in, he was never mentioned and I knew him very well," he added.
