Ani Begaj is the "strong man" of Vlora who was arrested this afternoon by the police of Vlora, after a conflict with firearms in the neighborhood "Pavarësia".

Another person was caught with him. The police surrounded the scene and blocked a vehicle. Begaj and his friend were wanted for the Çola massacre, where 3 young people lost their lives.

How the Çola massacre happened:

On April 7, 2015, after an armed conflict, Haki Rakipi, Alfred Velaj and Albi Limaj remain dead. The police arrested Aleksandër Llanaj, Ani Begaj and Bertil Aliaj as perpetrators of the massacre.

In October 2017, three members of the Llanaj family were injured in the Transbalkanika area, near the center of Vlora. The target was Ferdinand Llanaj, the brother of the life convict at the time, Aleksandër Llanaj.

Together with Ferdinand, his 8-year-old son was also injured in this attack, as well as the family friend, Dritan Begaj.

The family of Aleksandër Llanaj since 1998 has a history of conflicts and revenge starting from a chain of murders in Selenica.
