Albania and Italy have signed an agreement for the establishment of two structures for the reception of refugees in our country. 

Asked by Top News, the European Commission stated that it is aware of the agreement, but does not have detailed information about it. 

" We are aware of the operational agreement between the Italian and Albanian authorities. We have been informed about this agreement, but we have not yet received detailed information.

We understand that this operational agreement will need to be translated into law by Italy and further implemented.

It is important that any such agreement be in full respect of EU and international law ," the EC told Top News.
