At the meeting held this Thursday, the Council of Ministers made several important decisions, including the appointment of the new Director General of the National Environmental Agency.

Marjeta Përlala has been appointed to this position.

The government decided today:

- Approval of the macroeconomic and fiscal framework for the period 2027-2029, "Main macroeconomic indicators" and "Fiscal indicators according to the consolidated budget".

- Approval, in principle, of the agreement between the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, on international road transport.

- Transferring the responsibility of administering some state-owned real estate to the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sports, according to the forms.

- Determining the number of employees with temporary contracts, for the year 2026, for central government units.

- Expropriation, in the public interest, of the owners of real estate, private property, affected by the implementation of the project "Intervention in sports areas and children's toys "I want to play"", Fier Municipality.

- Determining specific criteria and procedures for selection, appointment, performance evaluation, discipline, release and dismissal from duty of the general inspectorate.

- Ms. Marjeta Përlala is appointed Director General of the National Environmental Agency.
