After the dismissal of Indri Cerloji from the position of director of the Durrës Penitentiary Institution, Edmond Llabani was appointed to this post.
The decision comes after the serious incident of the escape of detainee Altin Ndoci, which raised serious concerns about security measures and the functioning of the institution.
The Ministry of Justice decided yesterday to remove the previous director, Indrit Cerloj, from his duties, paving the way for changes in the management of the Durrës Penitentiary Institution.
